Renting - Short Term Rentals - Long Term Rentals

Renting in Dubai is becoming a lot easier and more affordable. It is also highly regulated by the government (RERA). When you take a Short term rental, you usually pay all the costs upfront. This does not include the utilities as they are normally included in the price but do check with the landlord prior to signing the rental contract. Long term rentals in Dubai are slightly different. The tenant will have to provide their Dubai residency visa. Passport copy and post dated cheques to cover the rent of the property for the full year. Landlords pay for the service and maintenance of the property. Then tenant pays the bills such as water and electricity. All lease approvals must be RERA registered.
